Wealth of knowledge and expertise
Raj Patel is the Managing Director of Talent Economy. He brings a wealth of knowledge and energy. Previously Director of Research and Policy at the Learning and Skills Network, he set up and ran the Centre for Innovation in Learning. He master-minded the thought leadership and stakeholder engagement strategy at the national enterprise campaign run by Enterprise UK. His experience includes working at the pioneering Neighbourhood Renewal Unit in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (now the Department of Communities and Local Government), an ambitious cross-cutting initiative to tackle social exclusion. His delights include burning the midnight oil to compile The Enterprise Report: Making Ideas Happen, which transformed the thinking about enterprise, and seeing how early seeds planted about community-led economic development are finally driving up social investment – phew! What’s next?With a Bsc Honours in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from University of West London he has now taken on the challenge of polishing up on Digital Marketing.
